HCHS College Tours started yesterday 11/3/22 at the University of Southern Indiana. It was a great day!

Seniors that have signed up to take a college visit to the University of Louisville on Wednesday, Nov. 9, need to stop by the green unit desk for a permission slip. Permission slips are due back by Monday, Nov. 7th.

2022 hunger heroes is Monday, October 31st to Friday, Nov. 18th. There are drop zones around the school. Bring in non-perishables and drop them at the drop zones. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners


The HCHS Theater Department competed this weekend in the Kentucky West Regional High School Drama Festival and won the Conceptual Interpretation Award. Kendall Pullum also received an All-Star Cast Award. Congrats!


P7 Christian Group will be meeting Monday 10/31 in G304, 3:30-4:30. So mark your calendars! Youth Leader, Tyler Brocato, would like to invite you and your friends to come join us! Snacks are always served! Also, a reminder Picture Day for P7 will be 11/10 during 2nd lunch.


Seniors that signed up to go to USI this Thursday for a college visit will need to turn in their permission slip to the green unit office by tomorrow 11/1.


Seniors interested in taking a college visit to either USI, U of L, UK, WKU, or Murray, go to your “Class of 2023” and sign up. Spots are limited, so sign-up ASAP.


HCHS Theatre will be auditioning for The Crucible. You may find the class code posted in the band hall on the bulletin board.


The YMCA is looking for high school aged aspiring leaders to help kick off Henderson County’s first ever Leaders Club. It is a nationally recognized, student-led program that is designed to help prepare students for college, build lifelong professional skills, and provide volunteer opportunities that will serve our local community. There is no cost involved and the club will meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
There will be an informational meeting and FREE pizza social on Monday, November 7th at 6:00 p.m. at the Henderson YMCA.

FCCLA Members! We will be meeting Thursday, November 3rd at 7:30 am in G302 and again at 3:30 in T203. Make plans to attend. Snacks will be served.


The Port is having a Halloween part on Monday, October 31st from 7:00-9:00. There will be free food, games, and gift card giveaways for the best costume. We are partnering with Terror on the Trail and will have a haunted house as well!
