SBDM Parent Council Member Nominations are now open for the 2020-2021 school year. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, April 29, 2020 by 4 p.m. Elections will be held on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. via Survey Monkey.
Qualifications: A parent council member shall be a parent, stepparent, foster parent, or legal guardian of a student attending the school during the council member’s term of office. A parent is ineligible if he/she is an employee or a relative of an employee (father, mother, brother, sister, husband, wife, son, daughter) of that school or for the district central office, or a local school board member or the spouse of a school board member.
Parents may nominate themselves or another parent. Nominations should be emailed to amy.young@henderson.kyschools.us by 4 p.m. on April 29th.
Nominees must understand and agree to complete a background check and the council member training for the 2020-2021 school year.
